1At the sale: is it worth buying?
Take a photo of the item and a close-up of any mark, stamp or signature.
"I'm at an estate sale. What is this, what era, and what does it typically SELL for on eBay? Is $__ a good buy? What should I check before buying?"
2Pricing from real sales
In the eBay app search the item, tap
Filter, turn on
Sold items, screenshot the results and send them.
"These are eBay SOLD results for my [item]. Give me the realistic sale range, a starting price, a Best Offer auto-accept and auto-decline number, and whether mine is better or worse than these."
3Writing the listing
Send 5 to 10 clear photos (front, back, marks, flaws, a ruler for size).
"Write my eBay listing: an 80-character title packed with search words buyers use, every item specific filled in, and a short honest description with measurements and any flaws."
4Tracking profit
Tell Claude each time you buy, list or sell something.
"Add to my tracker: [item], bought [date] for $__, listed at $__. Show my table with eBay fees (about 13% + $0.40) and profit per item."
